Volunteer/Work Study

Opportunities
 

  1. Sanders House (100 Lancaster Ave, Wynnewood, PA 19096

    1. Visit Seniors: Engage, listen and interact with seniors

    2. Assist staff with running groups

    3. Participate with seniors in arts and crafts or assist with making items to distribute to seniors

  2. Renaissance Health Care and Rehab Center (4712 Chester Ave, Phila PA 19143)

    1. Visit Seniors: Engage, listen and interact with seniors

    2. Assist staff with running groups

    3. Participate with seniors in arts and crafts or assist with making items to distribute to seniors

  3. HMS School for Cerebral Palsy (4400 Baltimore Ave, Phila, PA 19104)

    1. Assist staff with running groups

  4. Food Pantry (6848 Elmwood Ave, Phila, PA 19142)

    1. Assist with picking up food items from donors

    2. Assist with setting up pantry

    3. Assist with organizing registration and distribution of food items to community members

    4. Assist with cleaning up after pantry

  5. Youth Program – 3 to 10hrs (location varies)

    1. Mentor youth

    2. Assist with running groups/programs

    3. Serve as a Chaperone on field trips

    4. Tutor youth

  6. Fundraiser/Event Coordinator

    1. Assist with planning ABC Men Inc’s Fundraisers

    2. Assist with organizing events/programs/activities

    3. Assist with running various drives (Canned goods, winter coats, etc)

  7. Website Coordinator

    1. Assist with web designing

    2. Manage website’s contents

  8. Social Media Assistant

    1. Assist with managing ABC Men Inc’s social media sites (currently facebook & Twitter)

  9. Administrative Assistant

    1. Assist with preparing correspondences             

    2. Assist with organizing documents

  10. Grant Researcher and Writer Assistant

    1. Assist with researching and writing grants
